MELBOURNE ARRIVAL DAY
Widener's Tour Guide will welcome all students, meeting them at Melbourne Airport with a private shuttle to transfer them to their hotel. The students will unpack, rest, and freshen up before their first exploration and orientation of the area around their hotel. A group dinner will follow to lay out plans for the next day.

Welcome to Melbourne, Australia!
As you step off the plane, you’ll be greeted by the fresh Australian air and the friendly smiles of our local tour guides. We’ll be waiting for you at the baggage claim area, ready to assist with your luggage and guide you through customs. Once we've cleared immigration, we'll transfer you to your comfortable hotel in the heart of Melbourne.
After checking into your hotel, you'll have some time to freshen up and unpack before we embark on a thrilling city tour. Our experienced guides will take you on a journey through Melbourne's vibrant streets, introducing you to the city's iconic landmarks, historical sites, and cultural attractions. You'll see the majestic St. Paul's Cathedral, the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground, and the bustling Queen Victoria Market.
As we explore the city, our guides will share fascinating stories about Melbourne's history, culture, and people. You'll learn about the city's gold rush era, its vibrant arts scene, and its unique blend of European and Australian influences. By the end of the tour, you'll have a good understanding of Melbourne's layout and be ready to explore the city on your own.
MELBOURNE ARRIVAL DAY ITINERARY
AIRPORT
On arrival into Melbourne, students are greeted by our staff and taken to their hotel by private shuttle.
HOTEL
Check in to hotel and unpack. Students familiarise themselves with the amenities and freshen up before venturing out.
LUNCH
1pm Lunch provided nearby the students' accomodation, and go through the trip itinerary, and plan for the following days.
AFTERNOON
2pm tour around the environs of the hotel and local shopping area. Visit Melbourne Central and orient to hotel's location.
EVENING
6pm Return to hotel around 6pm for rest and relaxation and a dinner at the hotel and English language immersion games.
